Every day, she wakes up with a fresh dose of strength and energy that wasn’t there the previous night. Despite feeling exhausted from the previous day’s ordeal, her lover does the miracle of renewing her strength while she sleeps. He restores the worn-out tissues, repairs the broken cell, tenders the body, so she can wake up renewed.

Every morning, her strength is renewed, her energy is over the roof, she’s ready to take leaps over walls and climb mountains just to make her lover happy and satisfied.

She doesn’t mind getting exhausted while she is doing this, because she knows there is a supply available for her from her lover. She gets busy and occupied thinking, planning, and implementing decisions for her lover’s satisfaction.

While she is busy with her lover, her lover longs for her because she is busy for him not with him. These are two different things, and one takes priority over the other. Every second, her lover tries to communicate his longings with her, but she interpreted the communication to be busier for him. He is jealous and wants her to himself.

Being busy for him is not a problem, but he wants it to be an extension of being busy with him in fellowship and intimacy, which is much more easier and convenient. He doesn’t want her to see the mountains she’s climbing as a tool to bribe him to give her what she wants. He wants her to climb those mountains with him, for him, and in him. He doesn’t want her to spend her entire days thinking of how to satisfy him when she could always ask him.

He longs for intimacy and communion. He wants her for himself. He doesn’t want to share her with other people or things he created, because he created her specifically to give him pleasure.

Nothing matters more to him than to see her joyful and satisfied in him, but she’d rather seek satisfaction elsewhere, as she has not come to full acceptance of the existence of love from an eternal being. She is scared of coming too close to him because she doesn’t want him to see her just as she is. If only she knows that even without coming close to him, he sees and knows what she has done and what is on her heart but he’s still interested in her.

The more she runs away trying to avoid him, the more his desire to have him to himself, and he would not rest till he has her to himself.

Like the prodigal son in Luke 15: 11–32, who ran off with his share of his father’s inheritance and squandered it off. All it took was for him to realize his mistakes, repent of all his errors, find his way back home to his father. and guess what, his father welcomes him with open arms even though he was stinking from having spent days with pigs after he had squandered his share of the inheritance.

His father even went ahead to throw a party to celebrate the arrival of his beloved son.

You see, regardless of how far you’ve gone with your sinful life, God has his arms wide open for you. His heart longs for you. He wants to wrap you up in his arms in a warm embrace. He wants to plaster your face with kisses and drown your worries in his ocean. He wants you to cast your fears on him and find solace on his broad shoulders.

Now I ask again, who loves more, the girl or her lover?

P:S- The girl is a fictional representation of both men and women

Cheers!
